!!(￣ー￣)As some of you may or may not know, I am a huge Resident Evil fan! I have been a fan since the first one I've played, which is the one with Chris Redfield, Jill Valentine, Albert Wesker and Barry(if I've forgotten anyone, I'm sorry, just going by memory and not a Bing search!). The last Resident Evil game I played was RE5, which I own.
Of course, I watched the first Resident Evil movie when it came to DVD. From there, I became a huge fan of Milla Jovovich. I like her a lot because she's skinny just like me. :] I watch almost every movie she's in and she's one of the few actresses I respect and admire.
Anyway, with this movie, the fact that Jill was compromised and controlled by the Red Queen reminded me of RE5 the game. I was expounding to Otousan how difficult it was for me to fight Jill in the video game and capture her so I could snatch that spider thing off her chest. It's just that I'm used to playing Jill to the point where I got attached to her(it happens) that fighting her was a hard thing to do. Which is why I didn't play the Resident Evil Raccoon City game, where my targets were Claire Redfield and Leon Kennedy. I refuse to play a game where I have to turn against the protagonist. I just can't do it. Sorry... :[
So this movie was the fifth installment to the last one. This movie was just as short as it, with all that 3D sh＊t in it. Seriously, I wish they would quit it with that 3D because it's annoying as hell! For once, can I watch a movie without all that crap in it?! I was disappointed with the last RE movie because I felt like Chris should have been the star, which I knew, was impossible, instead of Alice.
One question that has been on my mind since the movie trailer came out: why did they bring back all of those dead characters from the first, second and third movies?! I don't see what was the point? I like Michelle Rodriquez a lot but what was the point of bringing her and the rest back for? You had her playing two different characters in the film! It didn't make sense. Most of the movie didn't make sense. They didn't explain what happened to Chris, Claire and K-mart. Just plain X-ed their ＊sses out of the film! I learned that Angela from the second film is dead. WTF??
Why was everyone getting their ＊sses kicked at the end? Why did Boris Kodjoe's character have to die? You mean to tell me out of all of the video games, you couldn't find more mutations for everyone to fight? I didn't like how Ada was knocked out and down the entire part. I know that Li Bingbing has martial arts skills. She and the Leon character should have been the ones fighting Rain. Making this movie all about Alice isn't fair to the real characters of RE.
Is it me or was there little to no chemistry between Leon and Ada? Ada seemed like she wasn't interested in Leon at all, when in the game, she liked to play around with him. I didn't understand(or maybe Li isn't into White men like that lmao). One of the main reasons why I wanted to see this movie so much, was because of Li Bingbing. You guys know that I have a a huge crush on this woman. I'm thinking about going back to writing that story of ours. ^_~ I still felt like Leon should have been played by my baby Jensen Ackles. I was telling Otousan earlier that ever since I seen J.A., all I could picture him was as Leon.（＾ω＾）
Other than the women, there was something I couldn't take my eyes off of, were Alice's BOOTS! Hot damn, I love me some Demonia style boots! And she was rocking them... lol
I'm getting sleepy yall. I have been depressed all week, and usually when I go through this, it makes me weak and want to stay in bed and isolated. I hope that I get better. I really do. I don't like feeling down and sad because it's not healthy or good for me. Anyway, let me say a little more to this post before I go to bed.
Even though this movie confused the hell out of me, I enjoyed looking at the women though. Man... So much FEMALE eye candy in this movie! I LOVE YOU MILLA!!!(a❤‿❤a)
