Ni-hao minna-san~ I know that I have not written a review post in a long time but I'm back to writing one. I just felt like writing this and giving you all ideas on how I use this product and how it may benefit you. I wrote this blog entry around August 17th. Sorry for it being so late...

Here are some images of me with my balding issues. I have been dealing with this ever since I've began transitioning. Prior to going  natural, my hair began to thin out after my last relaxer in 2009(or 2008, can't remember but it was a long time ago...). The beautician permed the crap out of my hair to the point where I was almost bald... But I've started noticing my hair receding and a huge bald spot on both sides of my hair. Here's the thing, the balding on the right side of my hair actually grew! I think peppermint oil had something to do with it. I was using an unknown product from the Dollar General store【Edit- I believe it was Dr. Miracle Hot Gro Hair & Scalp treatment . I've used so many products that it's hard to keep up with them all. Luckily, I have been taking pictures and posting them up here, just to keep up with them all.】 years ago and it actually helped this side my hair grow. However, with the left side, ugh...
As you can see in the image above, this is the new Shea Moisture Jamaican Black Castor Oil Edge Restore Treatment that I bought. After watching this lady's video, I've decided to dilute mine as well with Peppermint Oil, Tea Tree Oil, Black Castor Oil and I think that's it? lol You can dilute it with whatever oils of your choice, just make sure you look up the benefits of these oils prior to adding them to your treatment. Mix those babies in and let it sit overnight. It may smell as if the scent has change but after a while, I can smell that vanilla scent again. Before I used it, I drenched my edges with distilled water and a leave in conditioner mix. Then I apply the treatment to the edges of my hair. Because of the thick consistency, I wouldn't dare apply it to the rest of my hair. It's way too thick and may cause breakage. But that's just me! I have 4B/4C hair texture so yeah. lol

Oh btw, I enjoy using Shea Moisture's products! As you can tell from my sample box from last year, I've received a African Black Soap! I've been using that thing ever since! I love it! I also own the Jamaican Black Castor Oil Styling Cream. I don't care for it but somehow my mom managed to tame my hair with it. Well you know, that's mom. lol(*^▽^*)

I wanted to add that after applying it to the back of my hair, I feel some hairs growing back! So this product may or may not work for you! It also depends on your diet... I'm always drinking water and always in water(when it rains). My hair feels like biracial hair or like my Tessa's hair(if you don't know who she is, she is my light skinned baby in my Twitter header).

Update 9/4 I guess there is some progress... lol

Have you tried this new product yet? If so, how has it worked for you? Let me know in the comments below~✌
