Bonjour you guys~ Welcome to another fantastic blog post. In this post, I will talk about the movies, video games and tv shows from the 80s I've enjoyed. Some of which you probably have never heard of. Because unlike some people, I didn't get put on based on a Netflix tv show about the 80s that played hits(this was directed at someone, not to you).

๐งก๐Friday The 13th (1980)- I think I watched this film much later. Kevin Bacon hasn't aged!
๐งก๐The Terminator (1984)- I watched this film as a child. I think my dad owns this movie.

๐The Goonies (1985)- Another film I watched as a small child.
๐งก๐Batman (1989)- Watched this movie as a child. My dad used to watch this film a lot that I grew burnt out from it. I did love the Prince song in it.
๐๐Ghostbusters (1984)- One of my favorite films from back then. Watched it a lot as a child. My dad owns this.
๐งก๐Aliens (1986)- Probably my first alien horror movie. And I love it even though it's gross. lol
๐งก๐Akira (1988)- I watched this film in the early 90s. One of my favorites and it's a classic.
๐งกThe Little Mermaid (1989)- One of my favorite Disney movies.
๐๐Robocop (1987)- ... OMG ... Watched this film at an early age and fell in love with Peter Weller. My dad owns this film.
๐๐Who Framed Roger Rabbit? (1988)- Another one of my childhood films I Love. Christopher Lloyd was crazy!
๐๐Full Metal Jacket (1987)- My most memorable scene was ole boy getting beat with the soaps in the socks. My dad owns this.

๐งกThe Thing (1982)- Gross ＊ss movie. lol I watched this at an early age. Ew just ew.
๐The Neverending Story (1984)- I watched this film at an early age but I can't remember. My dad told me this.
๐งกTwins (1988)- I enjoyed this film at an early age. Funny movie.
๐งกPlatoon (1986)- I watched this at an early age I believe. It's Charlie Sheen so we watched a lot of his films from back then.
๐Gremlins (1984)- I watched this film at an early age. I thought the gremlin was so adorable!! Right along with the main guy.. LOL
๐งกSpaceballs (1987)- I don't remember when I saw this but when I recently came across it, it had me laughing my ＊ss off!
๐งก๐Honey, I Shrunk The Kids (1989)- One of my favorite classics from the late 80s! I watched this movie a lot. I had a crush on Russell of course lol. Dad owns this classic.
๐๐Willow (1988)- OMG... Man... You talk about a CLASSIC!!! This movie is one of them for me! And this was my first time crushing on Val Kilmer!!
๐งกBloodSport (1988)- Another one of my favorite movies I watched at an early age. Jean-Claude looked really hot in it. Can't get over that meowing noise in this film. lmao

๐Poltergeist (1982)- I watched this film at an early age. Was pretty creeped out, especially after finding out what happened to the cast. :[
๐งกLabyrinth (1986)- It's David freaking Bowie! I watched this back in the 90s.
๐งกRed Sonja (1985)- I loved this movie a lot. I watched it in the early 90s. I fell in love with the little boy. lol
๐Child's Play (1988)- I watched this movie at an early age. As an owner of dolls then and now, the thought of them coming to life to posses my body never crossed my mind. lmao

๐งก๐Conan the Barbarian (1982)- I love this movie. I watched this at an early age. My dad also owns this film.
๐๐Uncle Buck (1989)- This movie was my sh＊t! I watched this at an early age too. My dad owns it. It's one of the funniest movies I've ever watched! John Candy was the man!

๐งกThe Return of the Living Dead (1985)- Back when zombies were scary and not running and doing martial arts.

๐งกPet Semetary (1989)- I love this film. I think I watched it on tv a long time ago.
๐งกSilver Bullet (1985)- I love this film. Basically any Stephen King film. Plus it had my late crush Corey Haim in it.
๐งก๐The Wraith (1986)- ~walks away again~ ~returns~ This movie... Is one of my favorite Charlie Sheen films. Watched it on tv a long time ago and it stuck with me ever since. I love this movie.
๐The Hitcher (1986)- C. Thomas Howell was a cutie in this movie. That playing with spit was doing too much. lol
๐๐Poltergeist 2 (1986)- I really liked this movie.
๐Firestarter (1984)- Little Drew Barrymore.
๐My Bloody Valentine (1981)- I actually watched this film after watching the remake. And I wasn't disappointed!
๐Cyborg (1989)- Hands down one of my favorite Jean Claude Van Damme movies! It's something about it, can't explain but I love it!

๐Phantasm 2 (1988)- I love this movie so much!
๐Red Dawn (1984)- Charlie Sheen again but I love everyone in this film.
๐งกThe Brave Little Toaster (1987)- Damn this took me back to elementary school. lol I love this movie!
๐งกHarry and the Hendersons (1987)- Funny and adorable movie.
๐๐Creepshow (1982)- My boy Stephen King again. Classic tales of terror.
๐งกDay of the Dead (1985)- The arms reaching through the wall will never get old.
๐Cat People (1982)- I am basing this off my dad. My dad said I was in love with this film as a child.
๐งกKiller Klowns From Outer Space (1988)- Who'd think that there were clowns from outer space? lmao They tried it!
๐งก๐Prince of Darkness (1987)- One day I went through my dad's old vhs tapes and came across this film. I love it.
๐งกThe Fog (1980)- I prefer this one over the remake....
๐๐Silent Night, Deadly Night (1984)- One of my favorite horror movies from back then. A killer Santa Claus.
๐งกLittle Monsters (1989)- I like this movie. For some reason, it used to make me sad...
๐งก๐The Blob (1988)- I love this movie and the special effects. Also the chick from SAW with the iconic trap on her face was in this.
๐งกPee Wee's Big Adventure (1985)- Y'all could never make me against my Pee Wee.
๐งก๐Bloody Birthday (1981)- This is my favorite movie for strange reasons. I almost got thrown out of elementary school for talking about this movie to other students. lmao
๐๐Fright Night 2 (1988)- I love this movie so much. Yeah I had a crush on Charlie Brewster. Regine was beautiful and deadly. Homegirl on skates had to be my favorite. lol I can't wait til the midnight hour. lol
๐๐Scrooged (1988)- OMG I love this movie so much! So funny but the message was really good! Put a little love in your heart...
๐Swamp Thing (1982)- Can't count Swamp Thing out. Had no idea it was a Wes Craven film. lol
๐งกLittle Shop of Horrors (1986)- Rented this film from my local library. It had Rick Moranis in it so I couldn't pass this up. lol

๐Sleepaway Camp III: Teenage Wasteland (1989)- I love this movie.
๐งก๐Maniac Cop (1988)- I love this movie. I had to rewatch it for proper context.

๐งกHouse II: The Second Story (1987)- This movie was crazy.
๐งกProm Night (1980)- Digging through my dad's tape and I came across this film. I like it.

๐งกHalloween 3 Season of the Witch (1982)- This movie is different from the Halloween series. My favorite scene is the ending: Stop itttttttttttttt!!!
๐งกThe Funhouse (1981)- Watched this on tv a long time ago on TNT's horror tv show. I love it.
๐Demons (1985)- Nasty ＊ss movie lol
๐๐Night of the Demons (1988)- I love this movie!!! Angela's iconic dance scene is very memorable!
๐๐Warlock (1989)- This movie was my sh＊t! I fell in love with Julian Sands based off this movie!
๐งกNight of the Comet (1984)- One of my favorite scifi movies! I loved the girl power aspect of this film. My favorite scene were them in that mall. omg...
๐๐The Howling (1981)- Back when werewolves were scary, ripping folks apart and not falling in love with humans.
๐งกThe Lost Boys (1987)- One of the best vampire movies of all time! Jason Patric was sexy as f＊ck in this along with the two blond vampires. Of course I was in love with Corey Haim in it too.
๐Moonwalker (1988)- My baby MJ. I do remember watching this a long time ago. He was so sexy in this.
๐งก๐Deadly Blessing (1981)- Want to hear something hilarious about this film? My father showed this film to his Creole brother in law. That last scene of the devil bursting through the floor to take ole girl to hell scared the sh＊t out of him. lmaooooo
๐งก๐Rawhead Rex (1986)- A very underrated horror classic by Clive Barker which he now disowns. This monster is terrifying to look at. I love this movie.
๐๐Friday Night (1985)- I love this movie. Can't count how many times I've watched this. Chris Sarandon was one hot daddy of a vampire. You're so cool, Brewster!
๐๐Vamp (1986)- My pops has this on tape. It's one of my favorite vampire movie and the lovely Grace Jones murdered this damn role! I also love the colors and music on this film too.
๐๐Spookies (1986)- Another underrated horror film that I love. The undead bride was beautiful.
๐๐Puppet Master (1989)- I love this movie. Watched it a lot as a small child. Again, as a doll owner, it never crossed my mind that my dolls would come to life lol
๐๐Dolls (1987)- Oooo I love this movie! The Killer Dolls!!!
๐๐The Brain (1988)- This movie is insane but I recommend it.

๐๐Monster In the Closet (1986)- I used to watch this movie all the time growing up. I love it! This was Paul Walker's first movie as a kid.
๐งก๐The Beast Within (1982)- My dad recommended this film to me so I dug through his tapes for it or he gave it to me to watch. Either way, I can see why he loves this movie. Pretty good.
๐งก๐The Prey (1984)- This is another film that was recommended by my dad. It's pretty awesome and f＊cked up at the same time.๐ถ lol
๐They Live (1988)- A very good movie. So much in this film, you'll have to see it if you haven't.
๐To Die For (1989)- This is a lost gem that I'm sure folks have never heard of. I remember watching this as a small kid and the most memorable scene was Vlad's death at the end.
๐The Unnameable (1988)- This is one of my favorite movies!! I even own the book!
๐๐Graveyard Shift (1987)- This movie is one of the sexiest vampire movies I've ever watched! I used to watch this a lot as a kid. LOL
๐The Great Outdoors (1988)- This movie had me cracking the f＊ck up as a small child. The funniest part was them blasting the bear in the ＊ss.๐ป Blasted the fur off that ＊ss!!๐๐๐

๐The Incubus (1982)- I loved this movie as a child.
๐งกMaximum Overdrive (1986)- I can't believe I forgot all about this movie! I watched this a long time ago on TNT.
๐๐งกWolfen (1981) - My pops used to talk about this film until I discovered it in his archive. His favorite scene was always the Native American whipping that wood on a string.
๐งกThe Evil Dead (1981) - I can't recall the first time I watched this, I think back in the 90s? My brother told me that Dad took him to go watch this movie and that he cried when Ash cut his arm off. LMAO
๐งกThe New Adventures of Pippi Longstocking (1988) - I can't believe I forgot all about this movie. Fun trivia about me, was that back in the 90s, I was a HUGE fan of musicals(I mean yeah, I love Beauty & The Beast). But I loved this movie as a kid! Used to watch it a lot! LOL
๐Society(1989)- I used to see the VHS cover of this at the now gone video store but never watched it. I watched it recently(2023) and boy did I enjoy it! I made a video review about it too!

๐Tales from the Darkside- One of my favorite tv shows from back then! I love it! The theme song is awesome!
๐Monsters- I f＊cking love this show! We used to watch this show all the time, it came on every night. The theme song is super creepy!!
As some of you may or may not know, I love video games. I've been playing video games as early as the late 80s. Here's my list of video games I've played from there in the 80s.

Our first game console was the Atari. The Nintendo, Super Nintedo, Playstation 1, Playstation 2, Sega Dreamcast and lastly Xbox 360. I haven't played a video game since 2015.

Castlevania- This game was one of our favorites. I think this was our first horror video game. You had to face all of the horror icons in order to get to the main villain which is Count Dracula.
Donkey Kong- This game was the sh＊t.
Double Dragon- I think this was our first combat fighting game. Billy and Jimmy Lee! I love this game!
๐Duck Hunt- If you didn't own Mario, you might not know about this game. When we bought Mario, this game was the other game that we could play. We even owned the orange and grey gun for this game.
Final Fight- I love this game! Mike Haggard is an ex wrestler turned mayor who kicks ＊ss on the streets!
Galaga- Another classic our household enjoyed. Mom loved this game.
Galaxian- Same as above. Mom loved this game.
๐Mario Bros- Dun dun dun, dun dun dun dun, dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dunna! Late 80s I was playing this game with Duck Hunt on the other side.
Mega Man- I love this game! Again, we've pretty much played the entire series!
Ms. Pac Man- Mom was obsessed with this game.
Pac Man- Same as above
Paperboy- We had to throw paper on the doorsteps!
Rambo- I remember this game! I think we owned it or rented it, can't remember.
Super Mario Bros- We love the Mario Bros!!
Gradius III- This game is one of my favorites. It was really hard but the music was really good. I used to sing to it. lol
Pole Position- I remember playing this game a long time ago. Just forgot the name of it. I remember running all off the damn road too. Ugh...
The Goonies II- Guys... I have been looking for the title of this game, along with the cover art for damn near thirty years. I couldn't figure out what the name of it was but I did have the vision of the cover art for decades. I told my brother, I think it was a Goonies game. And when I googled it, there it was. I remember a girl down the street had this game and we played it in her room, and in my brother's.
