Fraudster's Paradise- Do Not Use Stripe.com⚠

We're spending most of our lives, in the middle of Fraudster's Paradise. I have been using this business for years and today was the last straw that broke the camel's back! Here's my experience and why you should reconsider using their service.

As you all may or may not know, I own a little small business online that I use regularly to get rid of items in my house that serve no purpose to me that I feel others may need. One of my favorite things to sell, are my Gyaru clothing collection. If you're new here, I have too many clothes!! Yes! I have to get rid of all of these clothes! I can't sell my stuff offline because Louisianans are hella cheap! So I have no choice but to sell these items online. It's nothing long term, I just need the money so I can save up and leave Louisiana, as well as other things I need ie. camera equipment for movie making and vlogging.

A customer by the name of Amina Abdi(lets be honest, the name itself sounds like a scammer) purchased a gyaru hairbow from me. Stripe allowed the payment to go through so I thought cool, I'll ship this right off. Then on Dec. 4th, I receive an email from Stripe informing of Wells Fargo has issued a chargeback due to the customer not recognizing the charge on their credit card. I am not sure whose credit card this person used but I had been fighting with Stripe ever since to get my money back. I've even asked the seller about the charge back, she never responded. If anyone has shopped with me, will know, that I contact ALL of my customers BEFORE I ship the items to them. I also go as far as looking up their social media to make sure they are legit. This person never responded, not even last night when I asked her to return the item back to me. I am putting her real name up here to ward off others who may see her trying to buy from them.

As of 1/21, this was the outcome of this battle.

Here's a video of my experience with them. At first, I hesitated to join because I knew nothing about it other than the store I use to sell my items, offers this as a secondary payment method for those who can't trust Paypal. I am currently losing customers due to Paypal's increased fees alas I will not cease from using them as I need the money for things I need.

Even if things are going smooth with your transactions, a customer can just randomly decide they don't recognize your business and request a charge back and Stripe will automatically reward them their money back. You will lose your profit, along with the item they already have. If you decide to use them, use them at your own risk. At least wonky Paypal will ask them to return the item first.
